Buying and selling of fuel and other petroleum products banned

The Inspector General of Police Solomon Arase has indirectly banned the selling and or buying of fuel or any other petroleum products in plastic containers by ordering the immediate arrest of persons in the business.
This was contained in a statement released by the police spokesperson Olabisi Kolawole, who said the Police IG gave the directive to forestall the suffering and hazards coming from the black marketing business. He also warned fueling stations to restrain from selling petrol inside Jerry-cans or plastic containers.
The police IG promised Nigerians that the Police will fulfill their constitutional mandate and appealed for a cordial relationship between the police and the people.
