Hubby gives her three time a week limit when she needs it more
I just read the story of a pregnant woman who was complaining of his husband’s inability to satisfy his sexual urge at the same time seeking for people’s opinion on how to handle the situation. According to the lady who is 21 weeks pregnant, she has recently developed high urge for sex. Consequently, she opened up to her hubby and asked him to increase the number of meeting times. But the man being ‘compassionate’ enough promised a maximum of three times a week because of her safety and that of their baby. People responded very well with each person giving his version of what the couple should and should not do. While some were of the opinion that the man should respond positively to his wife’s request, the others were accusing the woman of promiscuity and demanded that she nip the bud and allow the man to decide.
In my view, I think the lady needs a form of commendation. In our society today, the majority of our women feel that it is solely the responsibility of the man (the husband) to initiate sex. Even when they (the women) have developed the urge, they would rather remain silent; waiting for the time the man will make the move. That to me is wrong. When you are married, the two has become one, there should be this open minded principle, couple should not unnecessarily be feeling shy in the presence of their partner, that body becomes his property as soon as you are joined together so also his body turns out to be hers. When the urge is there, common dance to the tunes, make the unusual move and stop dying in silence. If you were hiding the feelings when you were single, of what need is it to do same when levels have changed. So to me, the ‘pregy’ lady receives my thumbs up.
Then for the people that were condemning she for speaking out, I don’t think there was need for that. Any where most of them I observed were single ‘inexperienced’ ladies. Now to the best of my knowledge, pregnancy is the pride of a man and I know many people are looking forward to that. But it has its ups and down, coming with lots of pains at different times. One thing about it is that this week you feel different from the way you are going to feel by the next week. Today you may feel like eating okra soup but by tomorrow you may hate the same soup with passion, toady you would feel like having your man lots of times but by tomorrow it seems a risky moment. But all these are the joy of it. The man is expected to understand with his wife and play the palliative role every time.
So to me, if much time sex is what this lady and her pregnancy requires, ah! The man should not hesitate to give it to her as much as she desires, so long as the safety of the baby and her mama is guaranteed.
Gunmen nearly attacked Governor I kpeazu' convoy
Gunmen suspected to be robbers robbing a Lagos bound bus nearly robbed Goernor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia STate. According Vanguard report, the men were robbing a suspected Lagos bound bus, when a pilot security van without siren and amber light approached the area.
According to a security operative in the city, who pleaded anonymity, “the robbers did not know that it was the governor. They thought that it could be the Army or police, but when they discovered it was the governor’s convoy with its full complement of security details, they took to their heels. On sighting the security vehicle, the gunmen were said to have opened fire without knowing that it was the governor’s convoy.
The incident took place near Immaculate Junction along the ever busy Aba-Owerri Road, as the governor was visisting Aba from Umuahia the state capital around 8p.m
the security details attached to the Governor's convoy fired sporadically which scared the robbers away though no life was lost.
“I do not think it was the governor that the hoodlums wanted to attack. It is just that the governor’s convoy that was returning from work without the usual siren and the revolving amber light, ran into them.” According to a security operative in the city, who pleaded anonymity said.
Contacted, spokesman of Abia State Police Command, DSP Ezekiel Onyeke said that he was yet to be fully briefed by the Chief Security Officer to the governor over the incident confirmed the incident, but debunked reports that the gunmen attacked the governor’s convoy. Onyeke

Vice President of Nigeria Professor Yemi Osinbajo visits Forcados platform
Vice President of Nigeria Professor Yemi Osinbajo has visited Forcados platform in Burrutu Local Government Area in Delta State to assess ongoing repair work on the disrupted pipline. He was acompanied by the Delta Stae governor Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa.
This is coming on the heels of
similar visits made by relevant committees of the National Assembly and a
federal government delegation. Earlier this week, President Buhari vowed to
deal with vandals the way Boko Haram extremists are currently being dealt with
in the northeast of the country.
At the moment, Nigeria is faced with
chronic petrol shortage due to the inability of the Nigerian National Petroleum
Corporation (NNPC) to meet domestic demand. This has been brought by a
combination of limited capacity, a shortage of foreign exchange to purchase
imports and pipeline vandalism.
In Delta State, a good number of the oil
facilities are either in a state of disrepair or are winding up acts of sabotage.
The Forcados terminal is believed to have been damaged by Niger Delta militants
who blew it up in their bid to protest the arrest warrant issued against one of
their leaders Government Tompolo

The Anglican Consultative Council has elected Most Revd Dr Paul Kwon as its new Helmsman
The Anglican Consultative Council (ACC) has elected to its office a new helms man who will serve in the Chair's position. He is the Archbishop and Primate of Hong Kong, the Most Rev'd Dr Paul Kwon. the ACC is the legal body that brings together Anglican Churches around the globe. The cleric is expected to take over the mantle at the end of the current meeting of the ACC-16 which at the moment ongoing at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Lusaka, Zambia. The Archbishop who is the first Archbishop to be elected to the role saw the election as a deep honour bestowed unto him. He stated that his most important task lies in bringing the communion together. “I think the most important issue that we have to work towards is to hold the Communion together,” he said, “and also to bring all the people of differences – people who are of different views of different matters – together, to work together and to serve together
From a report in www.anglicannews.org the new chair said that the Anglican Communion existed for mission: “This is the major objective of the Communion, he said, “because we have to serve the Communion that we are called to serve. We have to make the Communion be relevant to the world; to the people we are called by God to serve. I think this is the most pressing thing we do, regardless of the differences that we have.”
He said that the mission of the Anglican Communion was expressed through discipleship, and in addressing issues of poverty, human trafficking and violence. “There are far too many things and we have to [tackle] them together for the world,” he said.
He explained how his Hong Kong background would be an asset in helping the Communion to hold together. Hong Kong – despite its mix of Western and Eastern cultures, was “basically a Chinese community,” he said. “Chinese culture is very inclusive. Normally, we don’t judge who is wrong and who is right. We walk together with those who are right and also with those who are wrong.
“Coming from this kind of culture, perspective and attitude I think I would probably make some contribution to the life of the Communion. But I don’t know how successful I will be because I don’t think a single person can achieve all these things. In order to achieve these goals, in order to hold the Communion together, I have to work with every single person in the ACC and within the other instruments of unity.”
Archbishop Kwong is the first Primate to be elected to chair the ACC. He recognised that this might be a concern for some – the ACC is the only formal international Anglican Communion that includes lay people – but said that being a Primate would give him access to the other Instruments of Unity – the Primates Meeting, the Lambeth Conference, and the Archbishop of Canterbury.
“The role of the hair of ACC is not just to chair meetings,” he said. “The chair of ACC, as I see the role and responsibilities, is to connect people – or reconnect people – in the Communion.” He said that the four Instruments of Communion were “not independent from each other” and needed to be connected to each other “for the purpose of holding the Community [together], building up the community and making the community relevant to the world.”
Archbishop Kwong received 40 votes. The runner up, Professor Joanildo Burity from Brazil, received 25 votes. Archbishop Kwong will succeed Bishop James Tengatenga, who will step down at the end of the current meeting on Tuesday.

Governor Fayose writes to Chinese government asking for the stoppage of the $2 Billion trade loan
Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti
State has written to the Chinese government seeking the stoppage of the
proposed $2Billion trade loan it has promised to the Nigerian authorities.
The governor warned the Chinese
government to be mindful of the fact that Nigerians not minding their political
and religious differences are completely opposed to more debts to the Nation as
its current dept already gulps a 25% of the federal government’s annual budget.
He wrote that “the government of China should be mindful of the fact that
Nigerians, irrespective of their political and religious affiliations are
totally opposed to increment of the country’s debt burden, which is already
being serviced with 25% of the Federal Government annual budget.”
The governor explained further that
some of the projects which the loan is sorted for are not captured in the 2016
national budget.
A part of the letter reads: “I write
as one of the major stakeholders in the project Nigeria, and a governor of one
of the federating units making up Nigeria, to draw your attention to report
that the Federal Government of Nigeria is on the verge of obtaining a $2
billion loan from the Export-Import Bank of China.
“This $2 billion loan is part of the
N1.84 trillion the Federal Government of Nigeria has proposed to borrow to
finance the 2016 budget, which is yet to be signed by the President, Muhammadu
Buhari owing to unending controversies between the Executive and Legislative
arms of government.
“According to reports, Nigeria
desires to raise about $5 billion abroad to cover part of its 2016 budget
deficit. This is projected to hit N3 trillion ($15 billion) due to heavy
infrastructure spending at a time when the slump in global oil prices has
slashed the country’s export revenues.
While conceding that all nations,
especially developing ones need support to be able to grow because no nation is
an island, I am constrained to inform you that if the future of Nigeria must be
protected, the country does not need any loan at this time.
“The government of China should be
mindful of the fact that Nigerians, irrespective of their political and
religious affiliations are totally opposed to increment of the country’s debt
burden, which is already being serviced with 25 per cent of the Federal
Government annual budget.
“It will interest the government of
China to know that some of the projects for which the loan is being sought are
not captured in the controversial 2016 budget, which has been sent to the
President by the National Assembly for his assent. For instance, the Lagos –
Calabar Rail project was not included in the budget proposal the President
presented to the National Assembly and it was not included in the Appropriation
Bill passed by the National Assembly.
“Most importantly, Nigeria is
presently servicing debt with about 25 per cent of its annual budget and what
will happen to the economy in 2017, when the country will begin to service the
additional debt to be incurred this year is better imagined than experienced.
“The Chinese government must also be
aware that some western nations approached by the Federal Government for loan
diplomatically and cleverly declined.
“Therefore, like the foreign aid
that is reportedly being mismanaged, whatever loan that is granted to the
Federal Government of Nigeria by the Chinese Government may be mismanaged too.”
“It is also important for the Government of
China to note that the Federal Government of Nigeria claimed to have recovered
and still recovering trillions of Naira allegedly looted from the treasury. For
instance, over $200 billion is expected to be recovered from Dubai, the United
Arab Emirate while N3 trillion was said to have been saved from the Treasury
Single Account (TSA).
What is your view about the governor's position? Do you think he has the legal and moral justification to go write to the Chinese government on this reason?

A new space technological initiative-nanocraft, on the way
Mark Zukerberg the CEO of Facebook and his team are have plans to introduce a new space initiative aimed at projecting beyond the nearby planet for exploration.
the idea is to create a nano-craft spacecraft which can accelerate 20% of the speed of light using array of laser beam. beam of light
According the account on his page this is the first of its kind. 'I'm proud to join Yuri Milner and Stephen Hawking for a new space initiative to go beyond our nearby planets to explore other stars for the first time in human history.'
'Our nearest star, Alpha Centauri, is 4.3 light years or about 25 trillion miles away. Even with today's fastest spacecraft, it would take 30,000 years to get there. That's too long.
The new idea here is that instead of using large spacecraft burning fuel like people have in all traditional space travel, we're going to create a fleet of tiny spacecraft -- or nanocraft -- that we can accelerate to 20% of the speed of light using an array of laser beams from our planet's surface. At that speed of 100 million miles per hour, it will only take 20 years to reach Alpha Centauri. This is a completely new way to think about space travel and exploration.'

'The reason this project is important is recent research has found many
stars have planets within a distance where they could have water to
sustain life. That is, they're close enough to their star that any water
isn't frozen but not so close that it has all evaporated. But just
because a planet is in this habitable zone doesn't mean it has water and
is a place we can actually live. For example, Mars has no water, so it
would be difficult to ever live there. It's quite possible the closest
planet that humans could actually live on is orbiting Alpha Centauri,
and the only way to know that for sure is to visit close enough to
photograph the planet, which is what this project will do' Mark wrote on his page
Moral Decadence, Parents and the society
Every society
has it norms and acceptable values no wonder we have in Igbo land ‘omenala’
that is the do’s and don’ts of the land. When the people of the land become
fond of the don’ts instead of the dos, it becomes moral decadence among the
people of the land. In the days past, immorality is dreaded but these days it
has assumed a way of life. Today in our society, the level of moral decadence
is appalling and to me that calls for an emergency response and for concern.
The young ones do not show respect for the elders any more, such vices as premarital
sex, truancy, indecent dressing, cultism, stealing, fighting and killings, Drug abuse, examination
malpractices are common among the youth. They can do anything in front of anyone
without fear or favor. They can engage in all sorts of anti social behavior
which are not acceptable ways of life. I was in a pool the other day where a
boy of about 21 years and a girl of about 18 were making love without fear. They
had nothing to hide but were proud doing what they were doing. That is Westernization,
borrowing a culture that is different from yours which is may be harmful in
your context. This is not an acceptable norm in our society. Moral decadence
has eaten deep into our young ones and in the years to come the consequences is
unthinkable.
I have noticed a new trend I call marriage before wedding
proper. This is a situation where a young lady will live with a man as if she
has become a legal wife of the man. You are not a wife until your dowry is
paid, until your parents give their consent. The lady cooks for him, allows him
sleep with her enjoying the full evidence of marriage life. How dare you? How
dare you let a man sleep with you for a paltry ice cream? We don’t know the
worth of our virginity and sex life. It is the pride of your husband which
money cannot buy. How dare you? A lot of hearts of such people are broken. Why
not when the man has gotten what he wants? Why won’t he ask you out of his
house, why won’t he call you names and abuse you when you have lost your value?
Why won’t he kick you out of his house?
A lot of
things have contributed to the level of moral decadence in our society among
them are attempts to borrow a culture that is alien to yours, friendship,
associations lack of parental cares, failure of the religious bodies to
inculcate values into their worshipers, etc
What the child becomes is a function of the family
upbringing. What I am saying in effect is that what a child is is what his
family trained him to be. No wonder the bible says train up a child in the way
he should grow and when he is, he will not depart from it. Some parents will
lament that their children have outgrown them that they do not take
instructions from them anymore.
An adage says that okra cannot outgrow its owner. Your child
no matter how stubborn he may be cannot be stubborn to the extent he cannot be
controlled. Note there is the right time for that-while he is tender. Your five
year old child should not be sleeping, playing, resting or watching the television
while the maid is in busy attaining to all the house chores of the home. That
should be the time to let the child know or teach him how to attend to house
chores. He cannot learn those things at his twenties. You cannot learn
left-handedness at old age (anaghi amu
aka ikpa n’nka). We need to make a time table for the kids. They should
have time to play, time to study, time to rest and all the likes.
The power of association; the child cannot be different from
the friends he keeps. Friends at tender age have a great influence in the life
of a child. The common expression-show me whom you follow and I will tell you who
you are is a true expression. If the child goes out with people that smoke, the
child cannot be different from a smoker; if he goes with womanizers he cannot
be different from a womanizer.
Religious bodies also have a lot of role to play. It is
another place that can influence the life of a child since societal and
religious ways of life are being thought. Parents need to make their children
take active part in their religious activities. It is not surprising that some
parents instead prefer to take their children to parties, pubs. How can that
child be different from a drunkard? Our primary responsibility is to give our
children good upbringing and that begins at tender.
It pays to give the child a good upbringing and I enjoin our
parents to know that it is their responsibility to give the child a good
upbringing. It pays to the society at large.
