Oscar Pistorius, the South African former Paralympic gold medalist to be sentenced in June 2016


Oscar Pistorius, the South African former Paralympic gold medalist will in June 2016, be sentenced for the murder of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp in 2013. His original conviction was upgraded from lesser charge of manslaughter.
According a report in the Nations news paper, the 29 year old young man known as 'blade runner' faces a minimum of a 15 year jail term sentence which he cannot appeal because the country's top ruled the Oscar and his legal team have exhausted all the legal options available ti him.
Oscar who came in a black suit did not show any sign of emotion during the court proceedings and spoke on his cell phone as soon as left the court.
Dressed in a black suit, he showed no signs of emotion during the brief court appearance and spoke on his cellphone as he left the court. He denied killing Steenkamp, saying he mistook her for an intruder at his home. “The matter is postponed to the 13th of June 2016, High Court Judge Aubrey Ledwaba said of the final sentencing. “It will be heard until the 17th of June 2016.”
